I am not sure what to think of this situation today. And I am not sure what to think of the drawing. It is a first: this strip does not makes me lighthearted as Fred’s strips usually do.
And that ill-judged move is when the bulldog started the Cosgrove gang. I’m guessing. And I can’t remember the rival gang’s name featured in later strips. But, you get the point……..
It IS funny that they all seem to look mean! But I must agree with Calvinist1966 and LadyPeterW (nice explanation there. Scaring him to pieces!) that he’s getting what is (alas!) coming to him. And sometimes that is the best solution.
I’m probably being naive, but in keeping with the spirit of the Fred strip, I’m going to assume this might be a sort-of game? Probably not. But I do like the artwork today.
