Sure, we going to supply Israel with more arms they are fighting a darker race. But Ukraine is fighting a land dispute with a white neighbor. Arlease, I think that why Republicans are blocking funding to Ukraine.
Some of us would like to think that any aid we send to continue the wars would be based on justice and protecting democracy. Could there be the age old underlying rea$on?
Jews typically vote blue. GOPQ does not like blue. GOPQ also likes authoritarian regimes with harsh dictatorial leadership. Which of the two attracts congressional reds attention?
Reds also like large donations to campaign. Which of the two would like to have the greater portion of that largess from the Jews shift to their side?
It seems the solution, which is NOT a compromise, is to adequately fund the Ukraine, continue funding Israel adequately IF their corrupt incompetent leadership resign, AND create a plan to protect the southern border while permitting legal entry or a green visa set up for seasonal or short term migrant workers.
Except, of course, in Israel’s case they were attacked by a known terrorist group whose charter calls for the complete destruction of the Jewish state, whereas Putin (a proven war criminal, who helped his fellow dictator Assad massacre more than half a million Syrian civilians) wants to re-create the USSR.
If a nation named Israel weren’t vital to Christian eschatological mythology, US funding for Israel would have begun annual significant decreases during the Reagan administration, followed by tRumpy grumpily ending all support for that “$h!thole” Middle Eastern nothing nation.
I think no credit is involved, it is all gifted. Sorry, homeless people, seniors who need medical help, low-income area schools needing help., We just gave billions of dollars to give arms to kill other people. Nothing left for you.
It’s pretty simple. We can support Ukraine, or we can deploy our troops to fight Putin when he moves on NATO countries (or we can break our treaty), or we can fight Putin in Manhattan. Believe me, after we break the NATO treaty NO ONE will be available to help us fight Russian in our homeland. They’ll either be busy defending themselves and/or unwilling get involved with an untrustworthy “ally”. It is impossible to believe that Trumpublicans can’t figure this out; they[re either in Putin’s pocket or so stupid and fixated on showing how important they are that they don’t care about their own country.

Is that NY Jewish vote really worth the destruction of Gaza? Asking for a friend.

I can’t be the only one that thinks that Netanyahu and Putin’s justifications are eerily similar.

How about raising taxes on the defense contractors in this country. Just a percent or two would bring billions into the Federal coffers.
