I have noticed… as have a lot of other people, that there’s a strong thread of “guilting” in a lot of Jewish families. I’m opposed to (over) arming Israel… but I do wonder if they’re not also using their learned ability to confer guilt onto us if we DON’T do what they want.
Ted, I read your column about Iseral destroying their buildings. Makes sense. I had been thinking about the same thing. Have to wait to see if both were right.
Ted, you could have also pointed how helpful we were in giving so much to Iran so they could fund Hamas to attack, and then get the slapping they were so desperately begging for.
Afraid.. all of America is guilty of supporting and supplying armament to Israel. Netanyahu blames Hamas from hiding behind civilians.. while “he” hides behind the blessings of America. Without Americas.. approval of the many Israeli crimes, Hamas would not likely be the destructive government it turned out to be.
Israel is literally fighting for its survival. Hamas wants Israel and its people eradicated from their land. I’m glad they had the opportunity to get some of the hostages released but as expected the fighting has now resumed
Qatar relayed Biden’s U.S. proposals to Hamas while he directly pressured Netanyahu. The U.S. made the commitment to defend Israel’s right to exist in 1948, and has armed Israel since then. The U.S. provided weapons in 1948, 1956, 1967, 1973, and all the military actions in between and since. Up until Netanyahu’s leadership, the weapons were used primarily for defense. Netanyahu has used the U.S. to have an aggressive policy settling land that was not to be settled by the 1948 agreement. He was stopped by Obama, though not reversed, was unbridles under tRump, and once again held to account by Biden. This is not a simple issue that can be summed up by a comic or a short reply. But make no mistake what the role of the U.S. is for Israel. We guarantee Israel’s right to exist by our commitment, but we do not support Israel’s breaking of their commitments. Netanyahu must be stopped from using the U.S. as his ‘big stick’.
“… Election poll shows Gantz at 43 seats, Netanyahu’s Likud at 18, Smotrich out
Wartime survey finds coalition parties would crash to 41 seats, opposition parties would skyrocket to 79; respondents prefer Gantz to Netanyahu as PM, 52%-27%
If elections were to be held in Israel today, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich’s Religious Zionism party would fail to win the 3.25 percent vote minimum to enter the Knesset, a poll published on Thursday night has found.
The survey published by Hebrew news outlet Maariv was conducted between November 15 and 16, and so does not reflect any potential change in the opinions of voters following the Israel-Hamas hostage deal and the four-day temporary ceasefire that came into effect at 7 a.m. on Friday morning.
The drop in support for the far-right Religious Zionism, which secured 14 seats in a joint run with Otzma Yehudit in the November 2022 elections, follows a trend seen in other wartime polls published in recent weeks. …"
Qatar has a lot more than Biden to lose if bombs start flying around the Middle East. Why am I flashing on how the USA got rid of the “inconvenient” natives?

If Israel wouldn’t have bombs, Hamas would already have killed 17 million Israeli.

But didn’t Jared Kushner solve all the Middle East problems. That why he got $2,000.000,000.00 from the Saudis?

And Teddy, exactly how do you know that he didn’t have a secret role? Exhibiting your lack of knowledge of diplomacy again?

Recall the last signed agreements between Palestine and Israel were negotiated in secret in Oslo. In secret, especially to the US.
