China is already using AI and vast integrated computer systems to utterly control large population areas in pilot programs – entire cities fully integrated and completely controlled, including all of the people within the area.
Based on our the people elected to office in the US, i don’t believe they could identify [either real or] artificial intelligence if it smacked them in their faces.
Let me get this straight. Half the world can’t feed their population. Half the world wants to kill the other half. Half the world doesn’t have safe water to drink. The ecology of the planet is being disrupted by human activity and amidst all this, someone is afraid that Artificial Intelligence will make a mess of things?? Am I supposed to be upset because somebody might make a video, of trump singing ‘’Baby Shark’’?
AI is already showing itself to be the best at creating (un)believable prevarications, and getting them posted on many websites, even Mircosoft’s own “news” page

The only law we need to control AI, is one requiring all products of AI to be properly labeled as such. No other restrictions are useful or needed.
