Here are the numbers all: Harvard got a big fat zero for freedom of speech from FIRE, Univ of Penn got 11%, Georgetown 17%, Dartmouth 25, Yale 26%, Brown 52%, Princeton 39%, Columbia 34%, and Cornell 35%. Here are all 8 Ivy League schools and Georgetown.

I would opt for the “one-side of the story” interpretation. My first thought was contrary to my memory, Beef Wellington could be made cheaply, nope….Beef Wellington starts with Beef Tenderloin covered in a rich mushroom and pate, covered in prosciutto and the baked in a special dough, (not cheap or easy). So they obviously have not been effected by the economy, and they are donors of some sort….so it is a play on monotony…kudos for jack7528 for figuring it out and describing it so clearly. By the way, Mike Lester is a very clever editorial cartoonist….he sometimes gives us too much credit.

Demonstrations and opinions have consequences. Governments are NOT involved with those consequences, so get over it. If you want to demonstrate and state you opinion, go ahead, and live with the consequences. Wish we could get rid of anonymous conditions of the internet, when people know who you are, you tend to be a lot more civil.

16 US Presidents went to Ivy League colleges. They vary in ideology from Teddy Roosevelt to his cousin Franklin Roosevelt. If your daddy is rich or you’re especially talented you’re probably going to an Ivy League school or it’s west coast equivalent. They offer the best college education there is and no amount of right wing screeching is going to change that.

What’s with that man’s image ? His nose is coming out of his forehead. Is that some sort of implied message or is it oblique artistic license ?

It means that elite universities are now expected to lose more freedom of thought, unless it is conservative.
