Mother’s Day is when (young) children give their mothers home made cards and gifts. Anything else is just giving in to the marketing hype. These two twits are real suckers! (Now, if their husbands gave them those gifts for their birthdays, that would be different!!)
gmartin––I’m all for practical gifts, but who actually needs a device for picking up packing peanuts? Do they even use those anymore? Perfume a woman will wear is less of a waste of money than an appliance she will never use.
The point is it wasn’t a gift she wanted. It doesn’ matter what it was. It matters that he has no clue what would please his wife which leads me to wonder how they got the kid.
