Well, one suggestion is to make the Speaker Pro Tem position “permanent” and let him conduct all the important things that the Speaker does, while Gymboi Jordan has vote after vote after VOTE fail to elect him Speaker.
I still vote for the person regardless of party – and I carefully research each person’s background and prior activity before that vote.
