I feel about this the way I felt when there were riots over the killing of George Floyd. I don’t condone violence on the part of anyone in American cities or in the Middle East. But some situations go on and on and nothing is done about them; is it really surprising that some folks figure enough is enough and it blows up? In this case the increasingly anti-Palestinian Israeli government has them in a large prison compound they can’t leave; what did you expect?

Violence is kind of an inevitable result there.

The actions of Hamas are war crimes.

Could have just as easily put Israel in the headband.

The problem is that Israel is not differentiating between Hamas and the vast rest of the population of Gaza.

Most of the Mid-East is populated with muderous savages.

Of course this cartoon would make just as much sense if the figure was an Israeli settler instead of a Hamas terrorist!

This all actually goes back to pre and especially post WWII when the “christian” nation of great britain, along with other aligned nations decided to cede control of british Palestine to the new nation of israel in a self fulfilling biblical prophecy. This was the christian plan to route all of the displaced, unwanted Jews of Europe to their new “donated” homeland in the middle east. What should have happened was for the Allies of WWII to carve out the best parts of nazi germany and give it to the displaced European Jews as their own. Forcing the European Jews into Palestine, post WWII, was the christian icing on the cake of anti-semitism baked by the nazis and other European fascists

Since both sides worship the same God, although they do follow the teachings of different profits, the problem is not God but how men have distorted God’s words.

Yep, fables written by humans for control of other humans all about a non-existent god are the reason for the majority of strife against one another since semi-intelligent primates started thinking they were superior

Reminds me of the old saying that “the beatings will continue until moral improves”. Russia is pointing a finger to look over there at what Israel is doing to take the focus off their atrocities they are committing in Ukraine. Can’t help but conclude that Putin had a hand in the Hamas attack.

Hey, here is another excellent opportunity for Garry Trudeau to blame the victims and find excuses for the terrorists, like he did at the time of the Charlie Hebdo’s massacre.

Both sides claim that they are doing “God’s Will.”

The actions if Israel are war crimes and have been war crimes since they invaded Palestine in 1948.

Israel has had 75 years to make groups like Hamas extinct and they have not only refused to do so, they’ve actively encouraged Hamas to thrive
