Nothing like a quality line-up to whet the appetite. And this is nothing like it.

The biggest baby of them all was not there.

Those high chairs aren’t very realistic. At least a couple of them need the kind of chair that comes with ankle shackles. (My opinion only).

It was a debate between the best and brightest minds of the GOP. That party is in big trouble.

I didn’t see a single one of them wander around the stage trying to find an imaginary person to shake hands with and wonder where to exit. I’d take any over the current Cadaver in Chief.

The democrats have got nothing too. Politics is more depressing than usual and that is really saying something.

If it is Biden trump debate they will have to use geri chairs.

I would think a monkey cage would be more appropriate where they could sling feces at each other.

There’s a desperation, and none of them have enough support alone to defeat Trump. Some of then need to drop out and endorse either Haley or DeSantis. Neither of these were my pick, but either of them would be preferable to Trump.

Giving them too much credit for their maturity.

Oh Scott, just imagine if Trumpy the indicted former president had showed up! What a scene that would have been!

I pray that when the writers and actors strike is over SNL does a dream sequence with Trump at the “Republican” “Debates”.

And yes, it needs the double quotes.

I watched as they yelled, talked over each other. A total disgrace! Trump was smart not to attend with this group.

And they’re losing to an Orange Stain Skidmark with 91 charges, 4 indictments, 2 impeachments, and a judgement against him for rape. That’s the sad state of affairs for the Republican Party.

Got to make Americans proud doesn’t it. How (as they put it) the best country in the world presents its potential leaders. Sheesh.

True, but the biggest toddler wasn’t on the stage.

My favorite line from it was “Thank you for speaking while I was interrupting.”

Clear signs of a mouth that was wandering far afield of its loosely associated brain.

Today’s best news is not that we kicked the Government can by another 45 days. It’s that Joe Manchin finally announced that he is seriously considering running against Joe Biden for the 2024 Democrat nomination. Not as a third party, which would hand the election to Trump. But as the Democrat candidate for President.

I’m a lifelong Republican, but I would cross party lines to vote for Manchin. For those who rely on labels, how about “Blue Dog Democrat, modernized to 2024”? Or “The closest thing to Jack Kennedy we’ve seen since November 22, 1963”?

‘Two-faced’: Ex-GOP strategist unloads on up-and-coming presidential candidate

During Sunday’s episode of MSNBC’s The Katie Phang Show, ex-Republican Tara Setmayer insisted former South Carolina governor and 2024 GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley cannot be trusted and, as a result, is “unqualified to hold the highest office.”Setmayer told Phang, "A lot of us who thought that Nikki Haley — I mean, I was a Republican for 27 years — she was an up-and-comer, she was someone we looked to and said, ‘Okay, she’s got potential for a larger office, we like what she did in South Carolina, standing up to the races, taking down the flag of treason — as we called it at The Lincoln Project — Confederate flag.

“Those were bold moves in South Carolina. But then it was politically advantageous to her, in her mind, she took the other side when she needed to. AKA, becoming Donald Trump’s U.N. ambassador. You can’t trust her, will the real Nikki Haley please stand up? I don’t think we really know who that is. Does she?”

Phang continued, “And she told Marco Rubio, ’I’m gonna do whatever it takes to help you beat Donald Trump,’ including publicly berating Trump. When Rubio lost, she then supported Ted Cruz. We can’t account for taste, right? Then she votes for Trump, joining his administration, even after he publicly bullied her. There’s a Democratic strategist in South Carolina who said, quote, ‘She,’ as in Nikki Haley, ‘will adapt to whatever benefits her, isn’t that, Tara, just a nice way of saying she’s two-faced, and she’ll do and say what it takes to get people to like her?”

Setmayer replied, “Absolutely. We’ve seen this, she’s done it time and time again.”
