I have an idea. Since Jim seems to have simply lost touch with the concept of Gasoline Alley, there should be two comic strips. Jim could continue on with “Ranger Hoogy and Friends,” which focuses on little children who can talk to animals, talking bears, etc. The other would be given to a new cartoonist who would continue “Gasoline Alley,” a strip which focuses on believable situations in the Wallet family.
Come on Jim – it’s been since March when Walt spun his yarn about shaking Lincoln’s hand that bled into Dufus & Joel rain & hospital and now this bear arc. Hasn’t anything been happening in the Alley?
