Bob, can I make a recommendation to you? Should you ever git near Paris, consider spending a day or two right outside of town in Auvers-sur-Oise, where Van Gogh made many of his paintings. He did NOT paint his sunflower pieces there, however, in the summer there are fields and fields of them there, very beautiful. You can stay in a town near there, visit the area and make train raids into Paris. It’s all very easy.
Is this why my squirrels raid the feeders instead of the sunflowers I grow for them ? All this time I just thought the were lazy (until the kats go outside to play chase)
Reliving the old days Bob; reminds us that in many ways the “good old days” were really just “regular days”…warts, stings, pecks and all. Next year will have sunflowers.

Two of my 3 sunflowers bloomed! Of course they’re on a 2nd floor balcony so I don’t think any squirrels are going to be making that hike anytime soon.
