During my work internship, I’m given some money for lunch breaks at the cafeteria, to buy cafeteria food along with a drink from the vending machine. This might not be the most interesting fact about myself I’ve shared, but it shows that I’m a wiser spender than Nate.
Okay, this is actually funny. My favorite line was Teddy’s in the final panel. ‘Tactical error’ is right. Anyone who remembers being a kid understands the intense precision and choices of words that must be used to get what you want.
I’m hoping this turns out to be about Daphne. Nate needs the money so he can buy a postcard/letter and then mail it to her at camp. That’d be a really sweet arc.
I have a feeling this will be a Job Arc.I believe A. Nate will go back to Klassic Komi with Gordon (Haven’t seen him in a long time)Or B. Get a new job. What do you guys think?

Does Nate dad really think $20 can last in this economy

Well, got us a new arc with Nate and the boys! Decent gag, though Marty comes across unreasonable considering the world’s actual economy, 7\10

It goes both ways. After all, Marty needs enough money to afford to keep them alive

……not when you’re talking to your bank, and you respond to a question with “DUH”……….

Marty is being unreasonable here. Did he not think the $20 would be spent, despite Nate being 11?

Try doing something for more money such as wash the car, clean the garage, mow the lawn and don’t say ‘duh’ after father asks you a why question.

Ever heard of an allowance, Nate? Do chores or something.

Ok, here’s a question. What happened to Ellen? ( Nate’s older sister)

I’m sorry Nate. But he’s right.

I would just save up the money and say I spent it to buy something expensive like a pair of air force ones or a Xbox
