Gosh, it’s quiet around here today! Or is everyone busy beautifying their pets too?

Meanwhile, it’s a slow day today! I wonder where everyone is?!? Well, friends, wherever you are . . . whatever you’re doing . . . hope you’re having a wonderful time doing it! Happy Saturday everyone!!!!!

Dr. Billy: Thanks for the info yesterday. Wish we were a tech-savvy household like you and Aaron!!!!! My husband got rid of our cable t.v. Tuesday without even really considering the fact that without the DVR box, we no longer have anything to record on! He’s looking into different options, including TiVo, but is having a hard time making a decision on what to do. He says he can’t justify spending $400.00+ on something that does pretty much what we want it to do but a cheaper one doesn’t have all the features we want either. He was doing some research on TiVo (which has pretty much everything we’re looking for) and found a place where people were telling horror stories about trying to cancel their services and being unable to. One guy has been trying for at least 9 months. He cancelled his old credit card and got a new one in order to stop the never-ending monthly charges but they just turned him over to a collection agency and now the guy has to take them to court to stop the harassment and get all the charges, fees, etc. removed against him. I’m sure he’ll probably win but it’s going to cost him a ton of money in the process. In the meantime, they’ve pretty much ruined his credit. If we get TiVo and then find we don’t like it after all, I’d hate for that guy’s story to then become ours. Modern technology . . . a blessing and a curse all at the same time!!!!!

It isn’t just Cathy’s housekeeping that’s keeping them away. I’ve dropped into other places I frequent, and they all seem to be silent today.

Maybe . . . no, that’s silly. You don’t suppose they’ve all taken up jogging or reading or bungee jumping, and not told us?

@ linds.pook Sweetest Day is also a holiday in the east. I don’t really celebrate though, mostly teenagers celebrate it. I wait for Valentine’s Day, but my teenage son did take me out today.

Sweetest Day is a new one on me, I must admit. But I suppose somebody thought it was worth celebrating! I hope the dinner was good.
