Wow, three losers in one room and in one company. Not counting Mr P. who isn’t there. Cathy is technically not a loser so three is the current count.

Morning Susan who’s not a loser either. :-) Morning lightenup I love that Inspector Gadget is back. He’s why I didn’t know you were a female-type woman last year. How far we’ve come.

Sunny and 63 this a.m. Billy is taking me into town and helping me walk around the block. Non-PT day but I gotta keep on.

The second one, Pamela, cracked me up! I love it when a phone goes off and you can see 5 people fumble around looking for theirs. And a pager!! LOL!!Good morning, Aaron! Hope your walk went well! Whatever happened to actual vacations in order to get away from all the stress at work? And why would anyone want to risk injury of ANY kind trying to answer a page, phone call or e-mail from WORK . . . the very place they’re supposed to be trying to get away from while they’re on this so-called vacation?!?!? When there are 3 nut jobs making Cathy look normal, it once again makes me feel like I’m living in “The Twilight Zone”!!!!!

Thank heavens there aren’t any calories in virtual desserts or I’d have gained about 5 lbs. by now with the Death By Chocolate cake, the Crepes Suzette and, of course, today’s strawberry/blackberry dessert (is it a parfait?) over the last few days!!!!! YUMMY!!!!!!!!!! ;-)

Mom! yeah, it’s a parfait. The recipe calls for 3/4 cup of Philly Cream Cheese. Mom subsitutes vanilla yogurt that she strains through cheese cloth. Same texture but easier on the diet.

Note, folks, that all of the stuff we’ve posted for food items over the weeks has been that afternoon’s or evening’s meal / dessert. Four of us in this household, all slim and trim, very low bad cholesterol, high energy (which I have to tame a bit in me because I fell on my hip today while walking. Ouch). My only complaints are about how I sleep so badly sometimes. Billy said once that he’s never seen anyone sleep less than I do. Sigh. So true. :-(

Hi other Cathyites!! Was this a contest to see who could do the dumbest thing while on vacation? It looks like they all won (or lost) depending on how you look at it. Hope your hip is ok Aaron — beeeee careful. Can’t remember if I told everyone about my husband’s fall off the cottage porch backwards with a 7ft high, 150 lb cabinet in his arms. It’s about a 3-4 ft drop onto solid rock. Just proves his head is just as hard as I thought it was — he’s doing fine. Good thing too — we’re about an hour from any hospital and don’t even have an address. (Sorry if this is a repeat — I can’t remember much these days — I’m studying for the SW licensing exam and all I know is Freud etc.).

I wonder if Bruce, Pamela and Howard are related, because I think what they did was pretty dang stupid!……You’re on vacation……leave your cell phones etc. at home…jeepers!…lol…Happy Weekend to Lightenup, Aaron, Billy, Susan, Gretch’s Ma, viperdude, lindzcoop, serenaskitty, mollie, hendelca, and everyone else :)
