She can’t even raise herself.Playing organized sports isn’t reliving your childhood. Buying your children walkie-talkies and red rubber balls so you can play hide-and-go-seek and kickball with them is (guilty as charged :-)).-Good morning, Aaron, GretchensMom, Billy, and all the other Cathy nuts!

I knew there was more to those injuries than a scooter accident, even for Irving. I understand him though. Sharing is hard when the toys are newly acquired.

Morning gobblinup Afternoon Mom! Don’t be sad about the avatar. We’ll work on it. I wonder if any of Billy’s comments from yesterday showed up. It’s either the GoComics site, security settings, cookies, or whatever. I have to sleep on it.

And morning/afternoon to our other friends. I figure I’m the only one to understand Irving. I try to be sympathetic to Cathy but … Oh well. :-)

sounds like a bit of Peter Pan showing up in that darn Irving lol…she should have told him theres a difference between enjoying things from childhood and being childish…

And I’m calling BS on TurkAaronKey’s comment that he may be the only one to understand Irving. If that’s because you’re a guy, then maybe. But since Irving is not acting like a man, but a bratty child (my kids act better than he does), then no way. You definitely don’t seem selfish, bratty or childish.

Looks like friend Billy’s comments finally showed up on yesterday’s strip. Maybe the site had to approve his avatar.

As I remember from my babysitter days, children didn’t learn to share until they were about 3 years old! Irving is reliving his “terrible twos”! lol

Hi crew. Looks like another busy day in CathyWorld. I’d call it BizzaroWorld, but I hate to be unkind. I will say one thing though…Irving doesn’t stand a chance. :-D

You are sooo close, Mom!! Now you just need to upload it to gocomics. At the top of the page, where it says “You’re signed in as GretchensMom”, click on your name. This will take you to your profile details. There should be a link in the upper left corner for Update Avatar (you may need to Edit profile first). Once you click on Update Avatar, it’ll give you a window to select the file that you have saved in your Avatar folder. Go find it and click OK, or whatever it says. Let us know how it goes! Fingers crossed…

I think save LINK as is the problem. Further down you should see save IMAGE as. That should give you .gif or .jpg.

Good evening, Aaron, Billy, gobblinup, Susan, Rina, K.F.G. and all the other Cathy nuts joining us here tonight.

My deepest apologies to you all. I’m so sorry to be taking up so much space regarding my avatar problem! It’s just been so frustrating not being able to figure out what it is I’m doing wrong . . . and it’s flat-out embarrassing to be commenting anywhere on the Go Comics site still sporting a Halloween avatar! If I don’t get this problem fixed soon, I’m just going to have to quit commenting altogether (which I would really hate to do because I do so enjoy joining in on all the fun like we have here!).

If you do a SAVE IMAGE AS which you right click, you’ll be golden. I can 99% guarantee it. There’s a setting in Windows where you can see the file name and the file type (example: turkey.jpg) of your files. I’ll have to look at it and get back to you. Aaron and I have a Mac. He has his Windows laptop at work with him because he also writes.

Anway, save image as when you right-click.

My comment about a to z and 0 to 9 means your name your files only with letters and/or number, without using special characters like !@#$%^ etc.

Granted Irving is a jerk, but I don’t see how he is being a brat by wanting to participate in some sports that maybe are a little difficult at his age. I still do ballet at 63 — and I just put up with the injuries (as I always did).

Billy is right. I read too quickly before. Don’t do a Save Link As… do a Save Picture As (I have a Mac also but I think this is right). Then go into your profile in gocomics and update your avatar there.

@lindz.coop, I’m calling Irving a brat because of his last comment of “I’m not ready to share!”, not because of his participation in sports. I think that part is great.

reliving your childhood through having children is even worse, they shouldn’t grow up under the expectation that they should be what you miss…
