I guess that was too much studying for Chester

If Godfrey were a fair teacher, she’d give Nate extra credit for doing this.

But apparently when she’s teaching she’s in all around god-awful mode.

Well.. not surprising

I’m guessing all the teachers are afraid of Chester so he just gets away with everything

Not sure I get this joke. Nate was doing well. Why the heck did Chester staple him to the ceiling? The joke could have been funny with an actual explanation (even a sadistic one) but this is just lazy “Nate HAS to suffer no matter what so here you go” writing.

0\10, Peirce doesn’t do the bare minimum sometimes. Stuck in his ways to a frightening degree.

Overall arc rating: 32\60, weakest in ages, which feels harsh since the last two arcs didn’t have some of the decent gags here, but it’s Chester, these jokes have been rehashed for nearly 20 years, and when Nate has to suffer even when he did the work, didn’t laze around, didn’t complain, and wasn’t even rude, then what’s the point, Peirce?

How could the staple(s) even hold nate?

I was going to ask if Chester used a ladder to climb up to the ceiling and staple Nate there, but then I realized that given Chester’s height, he probably didn’t need a ladder

This is hilarious! To be honest, I sorta liked this arc! I mean, Chester……Nate…..Nate WANTING TO BE A DUPLICATE OF CHESTER……getting out of control, but how the hell is it possible for someone to be on the ceiling? Why would that even be that possible?

But still considering this nice and funny arc, 9/10.

D+ strip, no context just- “Oh hey guys got stapled to the ceiling”

Arc Review Pros: Ummmm- I guess the Friday strip??? I don’t know, I guess the general idea was good

Cons: Well I mean- it was a Chester arc- and it was the same as its always been, Nate will always get beat up in the end

Arc Grade: Like a C the Friday strip saves it

Mrs Godfrey didn’t gain too many brownie points with Nate, I would assume……

Must be powerful staples.

I don’t care about the arc, I just like this strip. When’s the last time you were stapled to the ceiling?

Better hope those staples are strong enough, or that the ceiling tiles don’t fall.

Hang in there Nate.. I really need to make my comment first. After reading all the rest my brain is overwhelmed. BTW, staples wouldn’t hold in a classroom with cork ceiling tiles no matter how many he used
