This one makes me wonder how she would have done things with her baby. Maybe one day there will be a spinoff comic…

She retired so she wouldn’t be hogging up the newpaper space so new ones could appear. There won’t be a spin-off, that defeat the purpose of her retirement.

Wow–there’s a thought, lightenup. Even if Mrs. Guisewite decides to stay retired, maybe someone else could pick up with the comic where she left off … ?

I can relate! My dogs were always a #1 concern for me and I loved getting them presnts and toys…whatever.

And they were always happy to receive whatever I brought them.

Ahhh, I miss them so much. They passed away this past year at 13 and 14 years of age.

So sorry for your loss flong – losing pets is like losing our babies.

Tho Cathy is obviously an exaggeration, it is fun to buy gifts for the pets, and sometimes it is just an absolute hit. We bought our old old old cat (18 years) a new fuzzy bed a few years ago and he just sat in it and licked it – he loved it so much.
