Could an incumbent Hillary beat Trump? Biden needs to be most careful as to who he continues to promote as his challenger. The more voice Biden gives to Trump, the greater the chances Trump could win.
BTW, on their 22 Oct 22 podcast, Ted states that he thinks Dick Wright is doing great work. On one of “Dick’s” recent pieces he bemoans leftist investigations of Clarence Thomas with pretty much a whataboutism technique. You can find that piece at the GQP friendly Arcamax: https://www.arcamax.com/politics/editorialcartoons/dickwright/s-2821750
I’m not discounting the possible return of Trump, based on the combination of the old saw Evil triumphs when good people do nothing and George Carlin’s Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers.
I am liberal. In 2016, I predicted Trump could win. My friends would practically $itchslap me when I would say that. Don’t get me wrong, I loathed Trump and I hoped our democracy would be robust enough to keep Trump out of office. But I saw how much conservatives (particularly Christians) reveled in delight at having a candidate who gave them permission to be casually cruel, bigoted and publicly express the worst parts of themselves with pride. After 8 years of feeling oppressed and disenfranchise by having a black President (despite that oppression not actually being real), I knew they would be a very effective voting bloc for Republicans. At the time liberals were infighting between Hillary and Bernie. Once many Sanders supporters took up an attitude of “if it’s not Bernie, I am going take my ball (vote) and go home”, I knew democratic party chances were reduced greatly. I honestly liked a lot of the ideas Sanders had, but in a historical sense, he was at the wrong time. And one of great shames about life is that it doesn’t matter how much your potential is…you need good timing or it can all come to nothing.
Some candidates (Hillary comes to mind) don’t campaign well, but could do the job. However, we mostly prefer candidates who promise they won’t raise our taxes and tell us who we should hate and blame for whatever. They keep mugging us and we keep thanking them.
No Democrat I know thinks Trump doesn’t have a chance. Which is why the are not generally willing to risk nominating an unknown candidate regardless of how far Biden is from their ideal for President.

President Hillary would have been the correct choice.

It’s the most pathetic scene, in America, when peoples morals and judgement condones a POS, lying rapist, and consider him qualified to be president.
How low can they go?

Clinton is responsible for tRump being elected and the subsequent fascism he brings to the U.S. She had it won and blew it. She should just go away.

If Trump wins, it will be in large part due to the never ending efforts of certain people to spread disinformation & apathy about elections.
