I’m thankful that where I live the ingestion of Twinkies is still discretionary. Those who like them are free to eat them, and those who don’t are free not to eat them. That sounds right to me.

I never bought the whole explanation of a tesseract in that book. Two ants on either end of the string. The space between the ants folds and one can move across to the other ant.

The problem is that the ants have physically moved closer to each other. A person holding the string moved the string. In the tesseract, there’s nothing that has physically moved a person from one place to another.

All it takes to convince RJ otherwise are the mere mention of Twinkies.

There may be no twinkies in the 5th Dimension, but I’ve heard there is a beautiful balloon.

I finally read it when the movie was coming out. I didn’t like it all that much.

Even worse…“it” could make you forget that twinkies even existed!

Mathematically speaking, traveling in the fifth dimension does not affect your location in the other three. If any other dimensions exist, they are all around us and we may be moving through them but we have no way to detect their affect on us as of yet.
