Oh, common the petroleum industry act irresponsibly? Sigh, yep, it is what they do best.

The oil companies are having a tantrum with much of the world choosing NOT to support fascism. So, they are going to their go to plan of reducing production and raising prices to get the idiots back in line to vote against their own freedoms. It may start backfiring on them as it may push more people to buy an electric car sooner, since auto manufacturers are coming out with a lot off more or less affordable electric cars within a year. Which will reduce the sale of fuel that could counter the reduction in fuel production. Higher fuel prices will get those that can to buy electric cars sooner than they might have, which will make these deals to drill in out of sight, out of mind places for oil spills not worth the effort for the oil companies they force themselves into losing clients sooner than they otherwise would have.

There’s a tanker containing millions of gallons of oil rusting away off the coast of Yemen. Imagine the consequences of this thing blowing up due to the lack of maintenance
