When I was younger, the pan-handlers had to leave their comfy setups and get out there on the street and give people a story about how their mother-in-law was stuck at the airport and they needed gas money to flee to another state before she found a cab. Things are just going to heck all over the place with these fancy “phone” things.
I was at a singles dance once. We all wore a name tag so we would know who we were dancing with. I was dancing with a girl named Pat. I told her that I didn’t understand something about women. You get angry when men touch you uninvited. And yet, you walk around with a sign above your left boob that says “Pat”! She had a good sense of humor and cracked up over that.
