Before the war, some “experts” said Iraq had WMD, others said it wasn’t true. In fact CIA Director George Tenet warned the White House not to use sketchy intelligence about Iraqi purchases of uranium in Africa to bolster their argument to invade Iraq… the White House ignored him.
For Iraq, the White House cherry-picked which “experts” to listen to, because they wanted to invade.
As for COVID. 99% of virologists, epidemiologists, and other relevant experts agreed that COVID was a pandemic and that reducing the spread was critical for getting it under control.
Mr. Payne helps to support the idea that people who don’t know anything about public health should be able to do whatever they want while a deadly germ is spreading. The most important thing to do in a crisis is to ignore experts in the crisis field. Thanks, Mr. Payne, for clearly showing us how cultists think.
What an incredible conflation!!! ALL experts are bad, eh? Maybe you shouldn’t drive over any bridges, because experts planned, designed and built it, right?
The experts in 2003 said there were no WMDs. They were overruled by people who believed what they wanted to believe. The experts regarding Covid took real-time info and tried to craft a response that would save as many people as possible. Then they adjusted as new info became available. They were mostly overruled who believed what they wanted to believe.
Fear of the truth. I don’t care for his suggestion that experts are not to be believed… however, I understand him. How does one always believe the former failed one term twice impeached poorly educated malignant narcissistic psychopath and his maga politicians who bloviate bull every time some indigestible piece of truth passes their way.

Interesting comparison… but as usual not true.

Payne still believes that Saddam had nucular weapons.
And that Mexico will pay for it.
.
And, of course, it’ll be gone by April when the weather warms up.

I agree with Payne; I never trust the experts either. When I need some plumbing done, I always hire an electrician.
