In the first place it’s WHICH department again? The DOE? Which has how much expertise in biology again??

In the second place, THEY say that they have “low confidence” in their conclusion.

It’s all China’s fault for releasing the virus that a million Americans died. The fact that we did nothing about it when it hit America’s shores has nothing to do with it.

the question is why write report at all if you have no confidence in what you’re saying, or are you just justifying your job

Last week’s issue of Science said there were over a dozen bio leaks from U.S. labs over the last 15 years. It suggested we get our own house in order while telling China to do the same.

Why not “blame it on a bat”? The Libs will believe anything the government tells them. See you in church.

The never ending right wing conspiracy theories.

Remember how Trump ignored covid and wiped out the Red Wave?

Is it really a big deal how it got started? I saw an interview on the news where a scientist said that it was important to know how it started because then we would know to beef up the protocols to stop the spread. If Covid was a lab leak, or if it was an animal infestation, or if little green men started it, that doesn’t mean it will happen that way the next time. The important thing is not to figure out the origin. The important thing is to find it early and sent overwhelming containment forces to stop it. Just like the instructions that Obama’s administration developed and passed on to Trump’s Administration, who then proceeded to ignore it until it was too late.

Virology research in China is probably as professional and precise as in the USA. But their politics prevents transparency and any accidental release (which is what MAY have happened) would likely be covered up and denied.

If it was a lab release, and can be considered an attack by China, aren’t the Chinese lucky that so many American conservatives were allowing themselves to die, and killing or damaging others, instead of resisting? This would not have taken arms and physical force to defend themselves, just proper masking, personal hygene and when available, taking the vaccine, thus decreasing the effects on the economy and personal activities.

So now Christopher Wray, head of the FBI (I may have missed it when he got his MD) says, on Fox of course, that the FBI thinks it was from a laboratory leak.

The people want to believe it came from a Chinese lab; therefore, Fox News reports it came from a Chinese lab.

    (Gotta keep those listeners happy.)
