Why should Fed gov’t pay for the cleanup caused by a private rail transportation company? Y’all act like these private companies have been nationalized and are the responsibility of taxpayers.
At least this will give Republicans the opportunity to help Democrats and Secretary Buttigieg both compel Norfolk Southern to shoulder the full cost related to the disaster, and re-implement regulations from the Obama Administration.
The Republicans are now willing to do that, for the country, right?
let’s all give our north korean comrade, sun, a round of applause for his progress on mastering the constant use of capital letters. keep on studying, comrade sun! you’ll learn to speak something approximating english someday… ☺
Biden’s trip to Poland and Ukraine was planned weeks in advance; a president of the United States must be able to give his attention to multiple issues, even crises, at a time, and Biden can do that, while correctly addressing the international issue most critical to our country and to NATO. The disaster in eastern Ohio affected a relatively small number of people (by comparison) and should have been handled properly by DOT, FEMA and the EPA. They seem to have been late to do anything, but we should remember that this train derailment was not inevitable, and that safety regulations affecting train braking systems were proposed by the Obama administration in 2015 but cancelled by the Trump administration. It takes time to undo all the damage that No. 45 has inflicted on this country.
Fema was there quickly (per Gov Dewine) Biden on phone with Dewine even though out of country. If you are going to diss Biden, at least make it on target and continuing with the “age” thing..
Maybe after the states agree to Perjury Traitor Queen’s divorce, Her new United States of Red can better react to such emergencies. All hail President of the Reds – PTQ!! (They might want a different name though – that one sounds kind of Commie)
Orange T grandstands and tells people working at Mcdonald’s he knows the menu better than they do and passes out self-branded water. That isn’t a photo op?
So DeWine pulled a Gibbs when drinking the water, and what happened to we dont’ want the feds interfering in our state? Have DeSantis fix his own bleeping state.
The GOP Governor said he didn’t want Federal help. EPA and NTSB were on site on the ground less than 24-hours after the incident. Get the story straight.

Not to worry Gary – the former guy paid a state visit and passed out, instead of paper towels, “Trump Water”. Would you drink “Trump Water”?

Apparently FEMA would have been onsite sooner if DeWine had allowed them in. The Feds cannot come to a disaster until invited by a state’s governor.

This job belongs to Norfolk-Southern, not FEMA.

So, you’d rather have those people drink polluted water than Trump’s bottled water? You’re sick in the head.
