The price of eggs is due to the necessary destroying of millions of diseased chickens, not inflation.

Reptilicans are poised to make the US default on its obligations — to reneg on paying its bills, on money already spent — for the first time in the country’s history; this will create a catastrophic failure in American and global finances. It will untold suffering for Americans and everyone else on the planet.

Thank you sooo much, red states, for allowing a petty, pinheaded group of petulant psychos to run humanity through the rack-and-ruin, rinse-and-repeat cycle of right-wingnut power cycles and hostage-taking.

Now: Let the caterwauling commence from the Greedy Ol’ Poops side of the aisle.

Y’all be sure to come back and update your comments after this next financial meltdown you trigger, y’hear?

(….providing the Internet is still up, electricity is still being distributed, and your own interest rates haven’t already quadrupled TWICE in the opening hours of the Globalgeddon. Hope you’re ready to use canned goods as currency!)

Oh, and — as always, have a nice day.

    [sigh]

The price of eggs is due to price gouging from egg producers to grocers like Alberton’s/Safeway. They’re selling eggs for $8 a dozen for cripes sake!
