In the same way the US and Germany joined all the rest of western Europe in opposing Russian aggression in Ukraine.

If I were North Korean or Chinese – I might be a little bit concerned. It was only 78 years ago that the Imperial Army left those two countries – not long in Far East history.

What would our grandparents and great grandparents on both sides in WW II think of this possibility being executed for real?

Feeling would be much more intense than what I feel when I see the Made In Vietnam shirts on American store shelves today.

How Many Us Corporations Are Owned By China? There were 217 companies, with a combined market capitalization of $2, when this table was last updated on October 2, 2020. A trillion dollars. China ranks as the third largest country by the number of state-owned enterprises (SOEs). The US stock market. Indexes on exchanges. (I looked it up and copied/pasted this)

Politics can be devious. In WWII, Japan and Germany were our arch enemies but now are two of our staunchest allies while Russia and China were our allies but now are our de facto enemies.

Who knows, by 2100 maybe the North & South could forgive each other for Civil War 2.0.
