I blame the parents…for allowing this!

Time limits on video games and other activities outside.

Probably because the Trump Administration did everything they could to eliminate nutritional standards.

This has been going on for decades. Michelle Obama tried to ‘do’ something (remember her garden?) and the righties had a fit.

Have you ever notice that the number of overweight people sky rocketed when we started cutting fat from our diet to eat healthier. Yes, I am one of those that eat way too much.

Never have Americans been both this well-fed with high-caloric food and had such a sedentary lifestyle (so says the man sitting in front of his computer). The combination is troubling.

Let’s see. 100’s of TV channels, streaming services, videos, video games, VR, books on tape, 24-hour sports channels, the Internet, readily available porn, cell phones, tablets, laptops, personal computers, smart watches, etc. Yeah, lots of incentives for kids to go outside.

My office had an interesting program that they would run over the holidays. You could earn points for taking the stairs, going to an exercise class, and some dietary incentives. Weigh in before Thanksgiving and weigh out after New Years and if you gained less than 2 lbs. or lost weight, you WON. There are some simple ways that you can inspire children and adults.
