    A good winters morning Vagabonds

The word is snow, 3 or 4 inches last night and another 1-3 today. The wake up temp was 28, the high is predicted to be 31 and as I already said more snow. Showblower time.

I have not desided yet if I’ll head to Newport this morning, I’ll wait for more daylight to see what it looks like out there.

As I find out what I’m going to do, may all you Vagabonds have a blessed day and God be your guide.

I’m reading the Ohio River Trilogy by Zane Gray. I just finished Betty Zane and now I’m into Spirit of the Border. These are great stories!

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

And a big welcome to the Vagabond Village to Nancy Simpson who “liked” my comment yesterday.

Not much has changed since yesterday. I did get my hearing aid over to the audiologist (I kept the one that is still working) and picked up Michael’s medicine. I hate wearing masks again! And I don’t plan on going anywhere else for the next couple of weeks.

I also went online and looked for nearby storage facilities. Among other things, I found out that the place we’re using now is cheating us. Their advertised prices are well below what they are charging us and ours is supposed to be net of a 15% “grandfathered” discount. Plus they are way over on the other side of town. I found a place about 4 blocks away from here and went ahead and rented one of the units. For the first 4 months, the rent will be almost $100 less than the old place and after that only an additional $40. When Mike moves his stuff to his new condo, his friends will also move all of our stored stuff to the new unit. That will probably be the first weekend in February, well after our quarantine period. Isn’t it amazing what you can accomplish online?

We’re looking at another high of 51 today. It’s 43 at the moment. I’ve been watching all of the dog walkers go by outside my window for the past hour and all of them are bundled up like it’s below zero. I guess we’re a bunch of wimps. No frost on the roof across the street, so it stayed above freezing last night. Tonight is supposed to be 31.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

    Good evening, Vagabonds.

It was a chilly 28 early this morning. I went with my friend to Springfield this morning and even tho it was cold this morning it warmed up to a sunny 47.

Thankfully it was an uneventful drive down there and we spent a couple of hours browsing thru a Red Racks Thrift Store. I worked hard not to spend any money and I did keep my spending low. Not easy when you are bargain hunting. LOL.

That is my day in a nut shell. May you all have a quiet and blessed evening.
