Adding 1/4 ounce of microwaved chicken broth to our adopted ten year old Pomeranian’s food converted her from an open feeder to an “eat it all at once” feeder.
You have to add some wet food to your dog’s kibble. Eating only kibble is like a human surviving only on nature bars. We switched from canned wet food to homemade from chicken and rice and all the tartar on their teeth went away.
I once gave my German Shepherd a new brand of dog food. He looked at it and looked over his shoulder at me. I said “Eat your food.” He looked at it again, looked at me again and walked out of the room. He never ate it.

Poncho doesn’t quibble about kibble!

And perhaps the cats are finicky because they’ve gotten used to (been “spoiled”) eating wet cat food because that’s all they’ve ever been fed.

I know how much the Pooch Café dogs despise cats’ presence, but it sure is hard for them to be as equal as cats (in some ways).

Wet food is expensive and think about how many cats Carmen has! More proof that you are not worthy Poncho. lol. :)
