    In our day, it wasn’t even a question whether we could, and the same with our kids. A physically healthy kid should be able to run an obstacle course without any difficulty.

    At his age, he should be able to run a mile and not get out of breath.

    I sympathize as I too could not run a mile in middle school and running a lap was a challenge. At least I was in special ed pe without th ehorrifying public showers or public humilation.
