Hard to have a revolution without weapons although the Russian people saw to the end of the USSR. China is under extremely fragile economic conditions with many experts predicting a collapse. Despite their huge armed forces, they mostly consist of conscripted “mommies boys” who were spoiled being the only child in the family. They have no real depth of experience. Many of the protesters have the same military experience having served and then been rotated out. Wouldn’t take much to establish a clandestine cell organization and there may be several already in existence. China’s banking system is failing, their construction projects are a farce with entire empty cities and apartment complexes which have no power, plumbing, doors or windows. Chinese people invested in these complexes even borrowing money to do so and now they are finding out they are worthless. Something’s bound to give and when it does, it won’t be pretty.
