    I think she sees it as a spiritual number. A connection to her past and future. 11:11 looks like a pair of gates. To where? IDK. At a bar, at 11:11 we would stop and remember our loved ones gone.

    This is how you know the person you ask for the time is using a digital clock. Those with an analog clock usually just round up or down the hour! i.e., 11:11 in analog would be reported as “11 o’clock”.
