I think of Rip every time I bump my head.
Some guys have a glass jaw. Rip has a glass back-of-the-head, and all the goons seem to know it.
You think he would have a metal plate back there by now.

Oh, Villain-of-the-week, Rip is only knocked unconscious when he’s hit on the back of the head with a pistol, not a tire iron.
I like how Rip looks in panel 3’s art , every once in a while Rip needs a quick nap… He’s always workin’!

If he had smacked Rip on the chin instead of the back of the head, that tire iron would have gotten bent or broken in half. (It also would have very little effect on Rip.)
