The Mayor Melba character is all over the place. She alternates between blonde and grey hair, professional clothes and hillbilly attire with pigtails straight out of L’il Abner, intelligent leader and a Gracie Allen-like ditz.

Rufus is a little slow today! Well quite often!

She seems to be one of the few characters who age.

Mayor Melba needs a new hairdresser.

Walt is more likely to ride in the back of an ambulance than on the back of a garbage truck.
