Indeed, Putin and Lauren Boebert have so much in common!

For about a dozen years, maybe less, the six shooter was called an equalizer. Look it up. TINY little slice of history. And it WAS that. Though as it is now, mostly it was just taken away and used against the weaker party. It takes time, effort, and some luck to be good enough to use it against deadly force and win.

Putin’s equalizer, though: Yep. We’ll all end up equal

More guns make us safer, right?

Decades ago, when Tom Baker was Dr. Who, there was an episode about a man who ran a planet and everybody on it. By the time the Doctor was through with him, it turned out he was just a bean-counting alien with an oversized ego who, as we watched, diminished and diminished until he disappeared down the hatch in his chair. That’s about the size of Putin. He started out a normal-sized human but as his delusions about himself and his place in the world grew, his humanity diminished and all he has left to prove it is a big gun.
