People are more concerned that their kids stand a nonzero chance of being murdered; at school, at the mall, at the movies, at their friend’s house, in their own home by any number of gun-toting RWNJ incels. But what most people in America are concerned about is:
- inflation/cost of living
- jobs/wages
- cost of Healthcare
- cost of post-secondary education
- quality of k-12 education
- cost of childcare and availability thereof
- roads and bridges, infrastructure
- national security
- reproductive choice
- effects of climate change on food production, cost of living, natural disasters
- protecting Democracy
And on all of those, Republicans have nothing, they only exacerbate these problems.
It’s going to work, that’s what matters now a days. Like Brandon seeing “Domestic White Terrorists” behind every blade of grass. Fear of children being mutilated vs Ultra MAGA Extremists in 45 days we will see which overstated issues hit Voters harder. I’m going out on a limb to say Inflation, Crime, CRT, Sexualizing Kids, 87,000 armed IRS Agents, Gun Control will get more votes than a 15-week abortion ban and forced green new deal. Feeling good about November today but Republicans still have time to pluck it up though.
Just the fact that children are subjected to such procedures by consenting adults is beyond the pale of human decency. Let the children become adults first.
The Rainbow Mafia has gone too far this time. Even gays are appalled by this. Teachers coaching kids that if they are unhappy, it could be because you are a boy trapped in a girl’s body (or vice versa). Kids believe this nonsense and make decisions about surgeries or taking puberty blockers when they are too young to understand the long-term ramifications of those decisions.
I believe Lester, as you call him, is disgusted by what he (and most of the rest of us) what we see and hear. Just last week, Biden was making a speech to a group of educators, and as he looked down, he saw someone he recognized, and said out loud, “You gotta say hi to me,” Biden said during a speech at the National Education Association headquarters in Washington, D.C. “We go back a long way. She was 12 — I was 30. But anyway, this woman helped me get an awful lot done.” I don’t think we want to know what “she got done”.
It feels like you’ve recently become upset about learning how someone had undergone some sort of gender related surgery, and that surprised you, because you couldn’t tell. Now you’re projecting.
Mr. Lester sure does like to push the trans button. I myself do not get the whole trans thing. I have contraversial opinions on that, but not my circus, not my monkeys. It can’t affect a very large number of people, maybe 1% of 1% of 1%. So when I see this I think either Mr. Lester is terribly misinformed or just cynically riling up the rubes.
Moving on but I can only assume there are two disturbing actions at work: Medical professionals who swear an oath to do no harm and people who support the butchery of humans under the age of consent. There’s also much denial this even takes place. I’ve posted VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL. Here’s just another example / proof:
“Seattle Children’s is the only pediatric academic medical center with fellowship-trained plastic surgeons who provide gender-affirming surgery in our region — Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho. We treat teens and young adults who are patients of Seattle Children’s Gender Clinic. We also accept patients who are receiving gender-affirming care through providers outside of Seattle Children’s”.
Adults can make this choice. Children can’t and one day they’re going to sue the people who made this available to them in direct contradiction of their Hippocratic oath. Just like the victims of the Catholic Church.
