At least in the spring the tree will get a new head of hair…I mean leaves…

Hair is overrated.

And therein lies the root of the problem…

Like the first snow fall. Completely charming, until the shoveling needs to be done.

Nope. They are a major resource drain during the winter.

I see Ben can relate.

Just finished taking a photo shoot of the fall colors in Provo Canyon. The colors were on fire! Bright orange red leaves, yellow leaves, red leaves mixed among the fir trees. Fall is absolutely beautiful here.

Dropping the leaves makes it easier to withstand the cold winds. Similarly, until you strap on your Stormy Kromer cap with the flaps down, your pate is more aerodynamic.

Good for Ben. He has his soft, tender side. Tis sad, but they do have their new annual head of growth coming. Celebration on the way. Many will attend the parties.
