It’s been an extremely quiet hurricane season but Puerto Rico’s luck ran out with Fiona. The good news is the storm is predicted to head into the open Atlantic and pose no threat to the U.S.
I feel so sorry for anyone who has to suffer through a hurricane. Hurricanes can really take a toll on one mentally and physically. Having lived on the Gulf Coast of Texas for many years, I’ve been through several of them, and each one took its toll on me. We’re now far enough away from the coast to where we don’t have to worry about hurricanes any more, and it’s a big relief.
