Trump had no plans for the classified documents he kept, in my opinion. In his two-year-old mind (mentally) they were his so he wanted them…

Anyone who’s raised a child has experienced the “It’s MINE” stage – Trump’s just never matured beyond it.

If someone with the proper clearances could review all the stolen documents, they would probably find Trump’s name somewhere on the pages; making it “his” in his mind. He’s already told us that the documents were “his” and I suspect he truly believed this, regardless of what the “Law” says – Donnie John just has a rather more "inclusive idea of “mine” than the average person. This, coupled with his feelings of entitlement explains it all.

We put a mental child in the White House – we must expect him to “act out” when he’s thwarted.

Here’s the thing: even IF Trump could somehow declassify documents with his mind (cue eerie music), he still shouldn’t have the documents. He should have requested them through The Freedom of Information Act and THEN he could have taken them home.
