The Biden administration faced a new major problem almost every week as soon as they took office. They organized the vaccine program, passed the Rescue Bill that lifted millions of children out of poverty for awhile (which was shot down in the follow-up legislation), addressed every problem with an “all hands on deck” approach with competent and honest administrators, did what they could about ending our involvement in Afghanistan with almost no time for adequate preparation (who thought the Talibs would take over the nation with almost zero pushback by the forces we had trained and paid for?)
Can you say, If they liked what the USA had done for them in terms of training their military and PAYING for every uniform, every gun, every vehicle, every knife, fork, and spoon in the mess hall, the kickbacks to every corrupt politician and tribal leader, the building and financing of schools, teachers, and paying protection for them against their own communities, in addition to hundreds of thousands of jobs and construction projects, maybe they would have stood against the Talibs who walked in an took over with ZERO resistance?
Can you feel some shame that we were so blind to how ineffectual our presence in that country was, in spite of the TREASURE, lives, wounded and maimed volunteer soldiers, nurses, and others?
NO OTHER PRESIDENT OTHER THAN BIDEN HAD THE COURAGE TO SAY, ENOUGH! NO OTHER SEANATOR, C0NGRESS PERSON, OR POLITICIAN HAD THE COURAGE TO SAY ENOUGH!
Yet those abject cowards all blamed Biden for their failure to act, to speak up, to do anything except point fingers at the President who finally DID act in our nation’s best interest.
