Mosquitoes detect tiny differences in body temperature and blood sugar, among other things so there are several physiological and very real reasons that can make someone a mosquito magnet compared to other people.

This is a real thing, as people before me have point out. If no one is around I may get bit, but when there are other people, specifically my daughter one time, I am considered a last choice. I’m fine with that.
