Pelosi needs to stay the course on her tips to Taiwan. If she doesn’t and Biden doesn’t stand tough against China, that will give Xi and the CCP a green light for invasion. Which won’t work any more than Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Worse in fact as there’s no way that China is going to be able to land any significant ground troop on Taiwan. Transport ships will be sunk and airborne carriers will be shot out of the sky. This would be an air/sea war with missiles and rockets flying all over the place. China couldn’t hope to win although they might inflict a significant amount of damage to Taiwans infrastructure. The big question is how hard would they and the US hit back at mainland China, if at all. There’s also Japan who has already stated that they would defend Taiwan with military force. No, Nancy has got to go to Taiwan, it’s the only and best move that makes sense.
