Why; what have you heard? – I plead the Fifth.

I love hamsters but they just don’t live long enuff.

Since when are hamsters responsible enough to have a paper route?

Bigger question — are there any paper routes that still hire kids?

Mr. Sniffles never had a chance!

He’s too dead to deliver newspapers…..

There are about 40 houses on my street (1/3 mile long), maybe 4 houses get either/both the local/NYTimes/WSJ. Most people want the paper by 7am at the latest. I believe the carrier’s route is 3×1 miles and the carrier likely starts at 4 and uses a car. Impossible for a kid on a bike.

Mr. Sniffles got snuffed out.

I no longer take the physical paper since the deliveries were always late. But, when the paper advertises for carriers, they must be over 18 and have a vehicle. Gone are the days when almost every house in the neighborhood took the paper (sometimes 2 a day morning/evening) and a kid on a bike or with a wagon could deliver.

Nothing funny about a neglected pet. Shame on the kid and the parents!
