The SC serves up Christian nationalism these days.

It’s what the Constitution has to say that is important here.

The court just serves Q-publican evangelicals, and ignores everyone else, After all “this is a christian country” as I’ve been told by some. They get very angry when I tell them that this IS NOT a “christian country” it is a Country where you can be Christian if that is what you want, and can also be any religion, or no religion if that is your preference.

The Supreme Court doesn’t serve the Bible?

They serve it in exactly the same way they ‘serve’ the Constitution — they pick the parts that fit The Narrative, and trash the rest. They believe the United States was founded on Christian Principles and therefore ‘interpreting’ the Constitution is subject to what they claim the Bible says.

“‘Women caring for their health’ is the White House euphemism someone wrote for President Biden to repeat. It’s like saying ‘Chicken neck massages are for their health’ and then wringing their necks.” -ML

William L. Marcy, governor of New York, voiced the sentiments of many conservative men when he said of the Southern position (on slavery) as (John C.) Calhoun articulated it:” I can fight your battles so long as you make the Constitution your fortress. But if you go to the Bible or make it a question of ethics, you must not expect me or any respectable member of the free Sates to be with you.” (1832)(“John C. Calhoun; The Price of Union”, by John Niven.)

Hypocracy…concern about fetuses but when kids are alive, they couldn’t care less…they won’t move on “real gun control” , and to lesson mass school shootings. Pathetic their benefactors, the lobbyists from NRA, are bribing and clouding their common sense. Now more women will die because of the bought and paid for SC!

A cartoonist having to explain his cartoons is kind of like a comedian having to explain his jokes.

Good point! Good toon. SCOTUS is about interpreting the law, not the bible.

One of my favorite cartoons is Foghorn Leghorn walking up to that dog lifting him by the tail smacking his a$$ w/ a board and running away just far enough for the leash to give out. I love that bit. A lot.

Mike Lester is just so gosh darn proud of being the worst human he can possibly be!

Come on, GoComics. Surely there are better cartoonists out there who deserve his paycheck more than he does?
