Suicide, and mental health in general, so poorly understood, so poorly addressed, and yet it affects everyone no matter the cultural background, political persuasion, religious affinity, age, or economic standing. The world can be a harsh mistress, so many suffer in silence, and so many more inflict suffering on untold numbers of others due to their own dis-ease and ignorance. It’s hard not to think that if only we had a handle on this issue, the world might be a better place.
The man could find more humanity and common sense over a plate of calamari than men passing themselves off as wizards. and pundits. Always tastefully done, too, I may add.
