I once worked in an office – worked hard to get there – but first they took away the offiices and put us in cubicles (Dilbert knows) but then the open floor plan ‘Office of the Future’ came and now the office is a place where I can simultaneously hear 200 women chattering away and no-one ever gets any real work done. Working from home was a blessing in disguise.
