The flaming example of how Repubs have changed over the years, morphing into a party with no spine, morals, or ethics, just existing to grasp more power at any cost.
Nixon was a political genius with a deeply flawed personality. He let his paranoia get the better of him, and his Watergate cover-up was inexcusable. I don’t think he is comparable with Trump, however.
Nixon did not violate any emolument clauses, and did not work to undermine democracy. He never incited insurrection and at least did the right thing and resigned before the Constitution was threatened.
Traitor Trump cared only about himself and didn’t care about wrecking the US system of government.
If we’re comparing Publicans and Democrats, Gore and Pence are a study in contrasts. There’s Pence, giving his weeks-long scenery-chewing over-acting amateur theater Hamlet, compared to Gore—with much more at stake—saying in substance, “If it’s between my ambitions and the Constitution, there is nothing to decide”.
Until Drumpf, I kept Nixon on the bottom. Grant and Harding didn’t take part in the scandals. Nixon even had a vice president with a different scandal. At the time, I didn’t like Ford, but eventually I viewed his more favorably as more Republican presidents showed up.

So sad that we have to consider ranking our crooked presidents. Let’s hope that we can stop at 2 and not have to have a “Top 10!”

Jack, your fantasyland has deviated so far from reality, it’s no wonder California is so full of idiotic ideas and policies.
