I think the Democrats should come out with a clarification of their policy: That they don’t send to jail non-violent minor criminals so they have the space to imprison the violent ones. They need to show they aren’t soft on crime by going after the murderers, rapists, etc. Then they can connect it to the January 6th investigations and show they’re the real ‘Law and Order" party, not the one who tried to overthrow the government. Most Americans, including Democrats agree that violent criminals should be locked up. Quit letting the Insurrectionist Party define them as soft on crime when they’re the ones who won’t let us restrict weapons available to criminals and they’re the ones who make it easy for criminals to buy guns legally in Red states then truck them to states like NY with tough gun laws. They’re the ones who’ve been claiming that breaking Sedition laws is just “legitimate political discourse”.
