Not all it’s cracked up to be

Hee hee, I am like that with my chickens, out at 3AM in my pj’s, checking to see that they arent overheating or too cold at night. Opening windows, closing windows. Poor girls be like “Heeeeey, we’re trying to sleep, here!” Hee hee!

If you lined the bottom of the planter with small stones the excess water will drain out the bottom. That’s how they’re designed.

And, even as we read, the ugly rabbits are planning and plotting how to grab the little gardener’s produce. Maybe hide a huge trap in the container, take the rabbit’s paw off. YES!

I left my seedlings out one night without checking the weather, and the were all washed out of their pots. I have only two plants this year that re-seeded themselves.

When you have a veggie garden you have to baby it!!!!!

That’s why I cut holes in the gardening containers about one third from the bottom. This allows some stowage of water but drainage of the excess water.

What’s the point? The rabbits will just came along when the tomatoes are ripe and steal them.

Why aren’t the rabbits out there protecting them?

Charlie goes above and beyond duty.
