I just watched a Midsomer Murders episode on Acorn. At the end, the family dog pretended to be in the trash as a diversion, then snatched and ran away with a string of sausages. :D
Reminds me of a ’toon that appeared on social media, it was of a tuners business card saying “This piano has been tuned. To continue, press any key”. Made me chuckle…..
Mr Dear doesn’t seem to be successful as either a painter or a piano player. Fred is unenthusiastic about him in both roles and other characters seem to share Fred’s viewpoint.
We once had a cat that would walk across the piano keys just to hear the sound (music?). One day, when the piano tuner came, he took all the action out of the piano in order to rebuild it. That night, the cat starts to walk across the piano keys, but no sound come out. The cat immediately jumps off the piano and never went on it again. I guess she thought she was going deaf.

So many people blame an out of tune piano, and it just ain’t so – unfortunately. As we well know huh Fred?

Sorry, Fred. Looks like he enjoys it, though. Maybe you can escape outside.

His next birthday gift should be piano lessons.

But he’s enjoying himself- and that’s what really matters! Anybody else could just leave him for a while.

Poor guy. Is it guilt or feeling that he has wasted his time.
